However, this is just a trick or snare for the unsuspecting young man, suddenly they are trapped; and the prey is captured until they reach a more mature age or it isnt fun anymore. A term originating from the adult film industry. The term is intended to differentiate between an older woman who has sexual relations with younger men who are not mothers from those who do have children, aka M.I.L.F.s. To put it simply, the terms are not interchangeable, an older woman can be one or the other, but not both. In other words, a woman of the appropriate age can either be a Cougar or a MILF, being she either is, or is not, a mom.
