Completely Unfounded

1. A legal term that means: "We did it, but you can't prove it. And even if you CAN prove it, we'll drag out the litigation until your great-grandchildren are dead."

Corporate attorneys frequently use this phrase to defend their clients against civil lawsuits. And they get $500 a hour for this nonsense?

2. A kneejerk reaction to any accusation of white collar crime.

The attorney for Goldman Sachs said the government's fraud charges were "Completely Unfounded." After the press conference, he laughed all the way to the bank.

Skidmore Complex

The Skidmore Complex is in effect when any of the following are true:

1) Unattractive men are able to freely and easily hook up with gorgeous, intelligent women.

2) Women are rejected by men who are less attractive than they are.

3) Those in attendance at a party are 30 women and two men.

4) All good looking college men are gay or taken (usually by a high school girlfriend).

5) Male Skidmore alumni are unable to attract women nearly as beautiful as the women they were able to in college.

The Skidmore Complex is most clearly observed at Skidmore College, but may occur at any small liberal arts college in which women outnumber men.

Desk Inferiority Complex

Desk Inferiority Complex is related to office envy and desk envy. A patient who suffers from desk inferiority complex will be working in a company where the desks are so small he or she believes they can't work properly and will need a larger desk. The disease manifests itself only after the patient has noticed that other companies have larger, strikingly bigger, massive, gleaming desks with satisfied looking workers sitting behind. According to Adler, all office workers experience feelings of desk inferiority as children having seen their father's big desks and spend the rest of their lives trying to compensate for those feelings.

John's desk inferiority complex has become so bad that he is now trying to use two desks with the pedestal between his legs.

God complex

A person is who is said to have a "God complex", does not believe he is god, but acts so arrogantly that he might as well believe his is God or appointed to act by God.

Some believe that "God complexes" are particularly common in arrogant, highly educated, worldly, or powerful people.
