con plague

the illness contracted after one comes home from an anime convention, usually caused by lack of sleep, shitty diet and screaming/ shouting for three or more days straight.

specific conventions have different names for it. kitacon, for example, calls it kit-aids.

Any form of illness received by having close contact with people during a convention or conference.

There were some ill people at ComicCon this weekend. I think I got con flu from them.

The act of procrastinating on a cosplay(s) and only having a short amount of time to finish it because you found other things to distract you.

Con\con

Con\con is a run command which, when typed, causes Windows 95 and 98 systems to crash and cue the blue screen of death. This is to do with the fact that con is a reserved device name in MS-DOS and Windows systems.

I typed con\con into the Windows 95 run box, pressed enter and my VM crashed and blue-screened.
