Correct definition = distribute: administer or bestow, as in small portions.

Incorrect version: An illiterate way of spelling "a lot". The most common mistake however (very common unfortunetly) is "alot".

I'm no snooty English teacher or anything, but these particular mistakes drive me crazy! What is going on with education these days?

Correct example: Given as a task; "her allotted chores"

Incorrect example: "I liek that allot"

Allonswin

(pronouced Ah-llon-s-win)
Allonswin is the pairing of the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Clara Oswald (Jenna-Louise Coleman) in the British Television Sci-fi/Drama Doctor Who. The name comes from the Tenth Doctor's catchphrase, 'Allons/y' and Clara's username, 'Os/win', therefore, Allonswin. Though only seen in one episode together, they are an immensely popular couple, though not as popular as Whoufflé.

If you're reading a story about the Tenth Doctor and Clara Oswald in a relationship, romantic or otherwise, and you support it, you like 'Allonswin'.

"alliwantforxmasisapsp" was a website sponsored by Sony which was intended to promote their PSP handheld gaming system. The site was a faux blog which was created by a company called Zipatoni, which specializes in "activating consumers." The gaming community became suspicious of the site primarily due to its gratuitous, awkward and often incorrect use of internet slang. The site was taken down shortly after it was definitively outed as a Sony-sponsored advertisement.
