Mexican suspension bridge

When you're in the tropics under a mosquito net, and your buddy climbs above you and drops a deuce on top of the net. If the net sags enough under the weight to allow the deuce to rest on you, its a mexican suspension bridge...if it doesn't then its just a suspension bridge - and if they've got the runs from some sketchy food eaten prior, and if it just pours through the holes in the net, than it is an Indonesian suspension bridge.
It was horrible. I had finally gotten to sleep in the intense humid air when my buddy gave me a Mexican suspension bridge.

Brooklyn Bridge

The battle cry for a new addictive game this summer in New York City, usually (not not exclusively) played by at least two friends, in which one person (the "car" or "pedestrian" in this case, who is either walking towards or walking behind the person to be the target of the game or the "bridge") yells "Brooklyn Bridge!" and proceeds to run, crawl, and/or dive towards the target friend, who has no choice but to open his/her legs and allow the "car" or "pedestrian" to pass through. Injuries may be sustained. The game involves a seemingly complex point system to keep track of winners and losers. Roller skates optional.
Friend 1: "Brooklyn Bridge!" (starts running towards Friend 2)
Friend 2: "Holy Shit!" (spreads legs and grabs package)

or...

Person 1: "Man, why are you walking funny?"
Person 2: "Yo man, Shawty Brooklyn Bridged me. She ain't so short..."

london bridge

What ignorant Americans call Tower Bridge.

People of America, listen up while I drop some science:

The Bridge in London which is impressive to look at and had a Tower (hint) at each end is called Tower Bridge. London Bridge is actually a few hundred yards to the west, and looks like nothing much actually.
1. In 1968, an American, Robert P McCulloch paid $2.5 million dollars to buy London Bridge under the mistaken belief that he was buying Tower Bridge. The then London Bridge was taken down, transported to America and reconstructed at Lake Havasu City in Arizona. (A new London Bridge was opened in London in 1973). D'OH!!

2. The bridge that is seen in the video to London Bridge by Fergie is actually Tower Bridge. D'OH!!!

3. British people still laugh about Americans not knowing the difference between the two. :-)

bridge the gap

To lay ones forearm across the two heat sensors on a B&M coaster control panel, which forms a "bridge". This allows the operator to have one hand free during dispatch.
Can you answer the phone? No, I'm dispatching a train. Why don't you bridge the gap?
