A disorder that occurs in those who are unable to choose between two people of the opposite sex to date in fear of hurting the one they did not choose. As a result, the person will wait until the opportunity passes on both potential dates and remain single.

Drinker: Man I like both girls and they both like me, but I don't know who to ask out. I don't want to hurt the feelings of either one so I'm not going to bother with it and just stay as an acquaintance.

Triancée

A person who has been engaged to marry to the same person three separate times. This requires that the couple be engaged three times and break up at least two times.

Sometimes Triancée will use the same ring all three times, but if the Triancée is smart she upgrades each time. Although, it is an accepted practice that the Triancée keep the ring after the third engagement whether or not a marriage occurs.

Man #1: How is your Triancée?
Man #2: Oh Cynthia? That didn't work, out we broken up again.
Man #1: Whoa! I guess three times is not the charm!
