Okay, so being a Scene kid myself I feel like I can give an awesome definition.
First off We are not Emo. I cannot stress that enough.
The Scene Girl:
- Layered Hair.
- Most likely 2+ colors.
- Flats or slip-ons.
- Tight, straight-leg pants.
- Band or decorative tight shirts.
- Hair straighter than straight.
- Lip piercings.
- Some have gauged ears, but not crazy huge.
- Only wears eye makeup.
- Does like Dinosaurs and Robots.
- Loves Hello Kitty. <3. Lol.
- Loves Scene guys and their tight pants.
- Loves bead necklaces and chunky jewelry.
The Scene Boy:
- Hair short in the back, long in the front.
- Straight-legs, May be girls.
- Band shirts.
- Band hoodies.
- Lip piercings.
- Gauged ears.
- Slip-ons.
- Unless skater, then you wear skate shoes.
Both Scene Girls and Scene Boys love Shows and live for them.
They do NOT appreciate being called emo. We are most definately not, and will bite your heads off. :)

scene kids

Contrary to popular belief, the scene refers to the music scene. One can not be scene. How ever, one may be a PART of the scene. Kids who are part of the scene attend shows and support bands that are not commonly listened to, as in hardcore or even electronica. It is often refered to as a way of dressing or hair type. The ONLY reason people think it is a way of dressing is because kids who listen to hardcore music instead of lil' jon, rihanna, or whatever else is cliche, started dressing differently. It is just like the confusement of "emo". Emo is an abbreviation for emotive hardcore. It was an uncommon genre of music and it reached it's peak in about the late eighties, early nineties. It almost completely died out by the end of the nineties. Bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, Hawthorne Heights, etc. are far from emotive hardcore and are actually Pop Punk. Most people are tards and are too stubborn to believe the truth. Therefore, ignorance becomes widespread.

Scene Girl

Scene girls are very confident. Their clothes are bright. A typical outfit would be-- A big bow in teased hair. Black eyeliner (with cat eyes) and fake eyelashes. A Hello Kitty t-shirt. Red and black zebra striped skinny jeans with yellow ballet flats. Lots of big necklaces and bracelets. Neon colors are a must. Band shirts are great too. Anything with Hello Kitty, Kuromi,My Melody, Gir, etc. are the best to wear. Little and big bows are great and are also a must. Skinny jeans are the best to be worn. Remember, the tighter the better. Teased/spiked hair are usually seen on scene girls with many colors. Lets put it at this, the 80's are their fashion.
Music ranges from The Medic Droid to Black Dahlia Murder to The Beastie Boys. Mostly anything except country.
The scene queens are gods. Like Jeffree Star Hannabeth Kiki Kannibal Zui Suicide.
They are confident and don't care what you think. They do whatever they want to.

scene girl- duhh! its going to be sooo awesomatastic!

regular girl- whats with you scene kids? you all look weird.

Scene Kid

A person (usually a teenager) who defines his or her life based on the ideal immage of a certain social scene (most commonly the 'punk rock' or 'goth' scene) these people generally seem to be rich white kids from good homes who can acctually afford all their scene (ie: hot topic) clothing and accesories.

"blah blah blah I'm rich, white, and have every opportunity in the world ahead of me. I'm going to go slit my wrists, listen to loud music and draw anarchy symbols on my $5,000 guitar that I dont know how to play. Man am I ever hardcore." <---an example of a scene kid statement.

Without the scenesters there would be no scene!
