Arain was a tribe. Most Arain people live in Pakistan but their ancestral origins comes from the west bank of Palestine. Arain are descendants of Arab invaders that came in Muhammad Bin Qasim's army. Muhammad Bin Qasim referred to them as Areehai from Arreha(Jericho). Areehai was Punjabized with a nasal sound to Arain.
