Someone who pretends to be what they aren't to get what they want. Usually, they prefer to back stab friends and then say that that person is a poser when in fact, they themselves are a poser.

Allison: You died your hair red to look like someone from a book!
Valerie: *cough* First, her hair is brown. Second, you died your hair the same color right after I did!

Poser (non-skater)

Someone who wears skateboarding brands e.g. Palace, Supreme, Huf, Diamond etc. and only buys the clothes because they are expensive. They have so idea about the skateboarding brands they are wearing, or skateboarding in general. The only reason they wear these clothes is to show off how much money they have. Basically an all round massive cunt.

Actual skater: Hey (poser), what do you think of (skater for Palace Skateboards) new part in the new Palace video?
Poser (non-skater): Urmmm what? what the fuck are you on about?
Skater: Well, I see you're wearing a Palace t-shirt and a Palace sweatshirt, so you clearly MUST skateboard?

adj., an object/person/thing that relies heavily upon others for influence and is not originally composed of one material and seeks more to mimic rather than to transpose the original object/person/thing's realm. While not saying the quality of the material is subject, the overall fibers of its being are called into question and the motives behind existence itself are brought to light.

a technical term of English Law, the meaning of which varies as it is used with reference to civil or criminal cases.The object of it is to generally obtain a stay of proceedings against an accompliance in order to procure his evidence(?).This object is, however, more usually effected by the prosecution offering no evidence and the judge directing an acquittal(?).
