Wikipedia Rule

References the general theory that when a Wikipedia user is on any given Wikipedia article the user is never more than 6 clicks away from something directly related to sex, either through related articles or text-embedded links.

*Note: 6 clicks is a conservative number, in everyday practice the average required number of clicks is lower.

Wikilies

What Wikipedia tells you that isn't true.

When looking up Chemtrails I found another one of their Wikilies in Wikipedia; they say "The United States Air Force maintains that the Chemtrail theory is a hoax which has been investigated and refuted by many established and accredited universities, scientific organizations, and major media publications", quoting the 'Contrail Facts' publication by the military which clearly defines contrails as chemtrails.

Wikirun

The action of searching Wikipedia or sub wiki site for the sole purpose of a predetermined piece of information or article. Only to find yourself clicking other imbeded links to other, sometimes unrelated wiki pages, repeating this action for multiple, sometimes dozens of pages. (A very much choose your own adventure styled approach.)

Guy: "Oh dude, last night I jumped on Wikipedia to check out that new band I heard on the radio. I ended up doing a huge Wikirun by the end of it. Ended up going from Iron & Wine to Tekken the Movie with about a dozen wiki links in-between!"

Friend: "So what was that song they played?"

Guy: Oh, I forget, I got sidetracked before I remembered to look"

Friend: "Idiot..."
