rush mindset

The mindset that workers get into at their job when a rush is occurring. This causes people to be much more easily agitated and start being rude or snapping at others because they want to get everything done as fast as possible, and get the rush over with. It gets to head when things don't go as fast as they want to, and the arguments and passive aggressiveness begins.

We had a crazy rush last night at work, Tiffany really got into the rush mindset and starting arguing with the chef.

The traffic rush during curfew hours. All the minor drivers have to hustle home so they aren't pulled over.

Sally- "You're leaving? It's only ten forty. Stay and party. Thomas just brought up a new case"
Dan- "Yeah, I can't, not if I want to beat the few rush."
