pure gas is a phrase used to describe a person or situation. if you are on pure gas it is because u did something crazy, out of the blue, by surprise, funny, etc. if a situation is pure gas it usually means it is dumb, not necessary, or jus plain crazy. pure gas originated in philly and is commonly used today.

1. Wow, did he really just say that? he's on pure gas...

2. You ate how many perks? damn you're on straight gas.

3. This was gas comin here in the first place.

10 Percent Rule

What should be taken from one who extremely over exaggerates the details of most things in order to acheive story dominance and self acclaim. Meaning 10 percent of what is presented is the truth, the other 90 percent is usually entertaining and a lie.

Philip said that the store was giving away $10,000 dollars at the end of the night, but I called and they said they were only giving $1000. I guess thats another one of those Philip "10 percent rule" exclamations.
