trash metal 

This is what some people whose first language isn't English call thrash metal. This is usually because the lack of 'th' in their first language makes them ignore the sound. This isn't the case for everyone though, as some idiots just can't read and end up calling it "trash metal".

This may also be used to refer to metal bands that are just trash in the sense that they should be thrown into the trash can.

Person A: "Megadeth is a good trash metal band."
Person B: "Well, I wouldn't really call them trash..."
Person A: "No, that's their genre. Trash Metal."
Person B: "Oh, you mean Thrash Metal."

1. Popular video game.

2. Used as a mocking expression (spoken in a rough manly voice) when someone repeats what another person just said as a question (Much like solid snake does in the metal gear series).

Person #1
"It's called Metal Gear"

Snake:
"Metal Gear?"

A term that defines the utmost brutality in certain scenarios. Can also be used in the wrong context to incite laughter amongst metal heads.

A:"Dude we're about to go onto Slaughter Creek Overpass"
B:"Dude that's metal as fuck."

A:"Ay, I heard you watch SpongeBob"

B:"Yeah so?"

A:"Dude...that's metal as fuck."

metal gear rex 

A huge motherfucking nuclear equipped death mobile that shoots warheads. It is designed to be a stand alone operational vehicle. Generally bipedal and really fucking scary when it's just you by yourself and you have to duke it out with one of them.

The first time I fought Metal Gear Rex I was like HOLY FUCKING SHIT HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO BEAT THAT THING?!

Twisted Metal 

A game for Playstation, Playstation 2, and PSP involving vehicles armed with guns, missiles, and anything destructive. The game has many sequels, all of which involving 2 of the same characters:
Sweet Tooth -- An evil clown with a flaming head. Runs an ice cream truck in which he killed people in before he was in the Contest.
Calypso -- Head of the Twisted Metal contest. Grants wishes to the winner of the contest, but often twists the wishes to his own delight.

Player one: Sweet Tooth will destroy you!

Player two: Wrong! *initiates special attack*

Player one: Oh my god! You killed me!

Player two: Thats Twisted Metal, PUNK! Bow down to me.

Pirate Metal 

pirate metal is a pseudogenre of heavy metal that usually deals with pirate like themesor sounds. The term pirate metal was originally coined by German Speed/Power metal band Running Wild, especially after the release of their third album "Under Jolly Roger". Some modern pirate metal bands include Alestorm, who use elements of folk and power metal in their music and Verbal Deception, who use elements of melodic death metal and folk metal.

A misunderstood type of music that can not easily be appreciated if you haven't heard much of it. It may take a long time for you to warm up to it, but as soon as you do, there's no turning back. Contrary to belief, metalheads are not stupid or angsty - that's just throwing around labels.
