Get the washingtonism mug.An extremely small town in upstate NY that nobody ever knows, and is a melting pot of different types of people. It's in a very suburb area, and has so many places around it with amazing views (if you can find them!). Not all admit it, but it has great teachers (well... mostly) and schools that allow people create friendships that last them a lifetime.
The pot heads always work at Dunkin, and you catch the wanna be "townies" walking all over town after school gets out.
The WHS principal (Mr. Brian T. Connolly ) is the best principal of all time, and is attentive to every student, group/club, and aspect of his school. Each teacher truly loves their job and shows it- most teachers are actually WHS alumni.
WHS is very strong in arts, music, and media- the sports teams are getting there ;) All teams get lots of love regardless, and the students never fail to show support. All students show school spirit, and you're kind of an outcast if you don't. WHS has an incredible school district/town TV show: BGTV (Blue and Gold Television). Being on the news team is an elective for seniors and the show is very successful, especially after its "Golden Age" with the graduating class of 2019. Any student on the news team is famous in the Elementary Schools.
All students love being a "Wizard," and being apart of #WizardNation. All present and past students forever call WHS/Wizard Nation/Washingtonville their home because of the life, experiences, love, and friends that it's given them.

The people that live there act that they live in the Hamptons, when in reality the city is just a fishing harbor with the history based off selling fish. The school district prides itself in being in the top percentile in the state and country, yet it seems more kids drop out than graduate. Overall, its a typical North Shore suburb.
