Lumpenfication

The process, whether intentional or unintentional, by which an individual, group, or entire culture is socially and culturally reduced to lower-class stereotypes, often associated with marginalization, poverty, or “ghettoization.” This process may involve oversimplified representations, stigmatization, or the stripping away of complexity and nuance in favor of caricatured or degrading portrayals. Typically, involves stereotypes about crime, poverty, lack of education, etc.

In American media, particularly in film and television, Latinos are often subjected to lumpenfication through repeated portrayals as gang members, maids, drug dealers, or undocumented immigrants.

Middle- and upper-class youth consuming media like drill rap or gangster movies purely for their perceived “gritty realism” or “badass” appeal is peak lumpen-fetishism.

Lümpenpoopenschittenhauser

(Noun)- from the Bavarian German: Der Lümpenpoopenschittenhauser (plural Die Lümpenpoopenschittenhausen).

An axiomatic expression derived from the German “Lümpenpoopen” and “Schittenhauser.”

Lümpenpoopen translates into English as “lumpy poop” and refers to a large shit that piles upon itself into a small mound within the toilet, often with a softer (though not quite diarrhoea-like) consistency. A Lümpenpoopen can be made in many different environments, but often results from a combination of Taco Bell, Indian, and Pretzel Beer Cheese.

The Schittenhauser refers to a toilet used for the express purpose of “taking a shit.” In German culture, to merely urinate in a Schittenhauser is culturally frowned upon, with many medieval legends claiming that failure to shit in a Schittenhauser will lead to 12 years of poor luck and famine.

A Lümpenpoopenschittenhauser is therefore a Schittenhauser designed for the more specific purpose of Lümpenpoopen.
