Actually from Belgium, they are French fries that are so greasy that they loosen your bowels and the shit flows like brown tap water (eg "freedom"). Also term for Congress that has the same effect.

Freelance Photographer

Unemployed. when one who states he/she has a place of employment or something to do for earning potential when in reality, do not have this but in fact merely half obscure business cards done up on ms publisher. These people are " freelance photographers ".

Girl: Hey, so what do you do?
Guy: i uh..you know, work on contract...sometimes theres work sometimes there isn't...i shoot um, photographs and develop them in my basement. I don't make much, but when i do it's alright.
Girl : so you're a freelance photographer?
Guy: yeah.
Girl: nvm, not my type.
