all the definitions are usually about a girl in a guy group, or a tom boy or a not like other girls girl. But that's a thing on its own.

a pick me girl is really just a girl that puts down other women (without valid reason) in order to look good in front of a guy.

it's not just male validation, it's putting other girls down in order to do so, hence "pick me!"

pick-me girl: "maybe you should stop opening your legs in front of everyone and people will actually like you"

Essential the gay version of a pick me girl. Just like a pick me girl thinks they’re not like other girls, a pick me gay thinks they are not like other gays. They will shit on queer merch, songs, etc calling it cringe. They are predominantly young and white and had a very easy coming out story. Their parents give them rainbow gifts during pride and holidays and they will take that love and acceptance and shit all over it. Meanwhile poc gays and older gays watch in shock at how the pick me gays act.

I would give give Layla a bi flag key chain but they are a pick me gay and would probably just call it cringe.

pick-up game

A game, usually in basketball, that starts spontaneously by a group of random people or with friends. There aren't any refs or officiating, and the calls are all on the players, which can get a little unfair and annoying depending on who you play with. The players pick the teams and rules.

*Jack and John shooting around at the court, while Guy 1 and Guy 2 are doing the same on another court*

Jack- Hey, you think we can take those two guys? Let have a 2-on-2 pick-up game with them.

John- I dunno, Guy 1 is 7 feet muscular and black, and Guy 2 is fat, hairy, sweaty, and shirtless. I better not post him up.

Jack- alright then, I call Guy 1, and you'll got Guy 2. We're going up to 21, win by 2, make it take it.
