An urban term used to describe excessive heat in an apartment. The term is derived from the excessive heat commonly found in apartments in low-income housing due to the radiators/boilers being poorly maintained and therefore blasting uncontrolled heat during winter.

Nena walks into Nazya's apartment and gasps, "Girl, you've got ghetto heat in here! Turn that shit down - I'm already roasting!"

Ghetto Bird

The ghetto bird is (usually) a police helicopter. It is so named, due to the fact that it's usually the ONLY thing- by day or by night- that is willing to fly over areas with a high crime rate.

The pigeons won't fly over my 'hood- but the po-po do it, every night in those ghetto birds!
