When two people aren’t in a relationship but still have sex and get all the perks as though it was a relationship without feelings for each other. Both parties establish they don’t want a relationship and that there’s no feelings between each other but both get what they want from each other without the commitment.
Yea we aren’t together but we aren’t friends but we also don’t have feelings towards each other but we still do relationship stuff. It’s a situationship

A term used in reference to intimate relations practiced by people who are uncomfortable with both relationships and relationship anarchy because they can’t wrap their minds around the concept of genuine companionship that happens to include sex — because apparently ‘FWB’ doesn’t refer to actual friendship — unless it is constantly being forced into a concrete, restrictive, linguistic definitions because of the idea that if there are feelings, the dynamic must change to use relationship labels to coddle our insecurities instead of working to improve ourselves.
Person 1: I’m in this situationship…
Person 2: what’s that?
Person 1: like friends with benefits but actual friends and I just don’t want to make light of the fact that we’re still friends and not some mystical third category just because we like each other.
Person 2: got it, continue…
Person 1: anyway it means literally nothing to me.
