Ghetto Postage

Slang terminology for food stamps, particularly the old paper variety, due to their use by the poor and their proclivity in the "ghetto"(stamps = postage). Popularized by the Master P album released in 2000.
He used his ghetto postage to buy some food, they gave him cash as change and he used it to buy some smokes.
