ipod

Trust me,im a proud suburban loser/geek,and have no plans to be "popular" and i must say a 30 gig ipod is very much underrated for its value for the money. Most 299 dollars players lack video capability (with the exception of iRivers new flash players, which are very nice too and cheaper then ipod, but hold much less, but those are nano fighters) All mp3 players break and get scratched up,but the batteries really do suck with ipods. Sound quality is also very good,as long as you dont use apples lousy stock earbuds, which is the status symbol of the ipod generation. Thats why i use etymotics, not stock. when it comes to sound quality, ease of use, and overall value, the ipod is a good player that gets a bad name by the stock earbud wearing posers who make the less image concerned immediately look over the ipod. While iriver, creative, archos, etc etc happen to make very good mp3 players, the ipod is just as good as any of these, and at 299 for a 30 gig player with video capability(you can get freeware to rip dvds straight on to the device),the ipod is actually a good overall value ruined by its MTV image.
If apple would just add an FM tuner and a built in voice recorder to thier ipod, they would actually have the perfect player.

For all you people who put shit on iPods because of irreplaceable batteries and hard disks and about the $250 Apple repair fee, browse the fucking nets, you morons. You obviously have a web browser, so use the fucking thing! iPods DO have replaceable batteries, AND Hard drives. My iPod is currently open and on top of my computer right now, i bought a new hard disk for it to up the capacity. The battery is connected by a wire to a socket on the mainboard, much like the battery in a cordless phone. There are plenty of companies around that make replacement parts (ie the HDD is just a 1.8in Toshiba) so quit your bitching about them. It costs about $75 for a new battery and $150 for a new HD! I agree, Apple over-charges for the "replacement scheme" but seriously, if you think that Apple suck so much why follow their advice and not open your iPod? Morons.
Everyone who thinks that iPods are lame because of irreplaceable batteries are fuckwits who probably can't afford them.

A walking advertisement for: MUG THIS FOOL, THEY GOT MONEY.

Any fool dumb enough to buy an ipod and walk around town with their white headphones in their ears, trying to look cool, when they are actually saying: He I got lots of money. Usually private school fags.

A piece of electronic crap also.
Crack Addict 1: Hey check out that kid there, he's got an ipod.

Crack Addict 2: Get him!

iPod

A portable MP3 player made by Apple. What stupid people call all MP3 players.A complete piece of shite. Original versions had a battery that was impossible to remove without reworking the PCB. The damn thing is the worst example of the Marlboro Lights culture in that it comes in minimalist stylings. Do yourselves a favour and get something made by Creative instead.
The iPod is a piece of shite.

Something everybody these days seems to hate.
I bought a used second generation iPod (no, not a touch I'm talkin' the old 20gig model from 2002) and the old beast has delivered nothing but solid performance. I get far better battery life than with my old creative Zen. And at only 35$ on Kijiji you can't go wrong. And while I don't have anywhere near 20gigs of music, that extra space is great if I want to use my iPod as an external drive. And even my past models have been great performers. Those of you who seem to suffer iPod problems and scratches are probably rough and rowdy jocks and are better suited handling a simple flash based player, although a lot of my friends report ROM crashes with their flash players...
Friend 1: I had to take back my creative player, it got that white screen of death again...

Me: Nods while listening to old monochromatic iPod.

Also iPoo. A less advanced and more expensive version of the Creative Labs Nomad Zen Xtra that features a non-removeable battery and less disk space.
Whoa, my iPod battery is dead, man.
