Someone who is call a gittychicken is someone who is being very happy while showing signs of nervousness. Being happy while exhibiting behavior associated with not thinking clearly. One who is a gittychicken often excessively smiles and acts silly while also being cowardice as a someone called a "chicken" would be portraying.

Grittyverse is a term used mostly in fanfiction & is a type of loose AU (Alternate Universe) that can be used on it's own or in tandem with another AU.

It's an adult interpretation of characters & settings form children's media, which at times borders on Noir / Grimdark.

It can include references to or mentions of; Panic attacks, mental illness, non-canon typical violence, torture, abuse, substance abuse, sex, & character death etc.
