Gareth

The word 'Gareth' is usually used to insult people (1) in the Grimsby area of England. Created originally by a small group of friends, this saying has become a popular part of the culture. It generally means 'Dumb person', but can be used to describe inanimate objects too, such as a MAC Computer when it fucks up (2). It is also laughed upon when uttered (3) .

Originated in a small mom and pop restaurant in Idaho called Butterburns. Their signature dish is "The Grether" which is a hot, 7 hour rump roast.
