Repeated requests by an unsolicited salesperson to force the purchase of an unwanted item or service. Otherwise known as a "rape sell".

If one is the unfortunate recipient of a chu fan, they have been "chu fanned".

Chu fan, 吃饭, literally means "eat rice" in Chinese. However, it is more accurately defined as the above.

Heavily-accented salesperson: Buy this!
Person who is walking by: No
Salesperson: No? How about yes!
Person who is walking away briskly: No, go away
Salesperson, following behind vigorously: 50%. Good price! You buy it!
Person, now impatient: No. Go away!!! I hate being chu fanned!
