Humble Brag

What every girl on social media does when they want attention.
Humble Brag Example: When girls post half naked selfies on Instagram with a lame caption about “body positivity” and “how far they’ve come”, etc., pretending like the whole point of the pic isn’t to simply get max likes and compliments

T-Brag

To use Twitter as a platform for bragging. Coined as an analogue to "Facebrag," this word telegraphs "teabag" by design.
It is an open question whether the Facebrag or the T-Brag is more pernicious.

Passive Bragging

When an individual pretends not to be arrogant and pretentious by disagreeing with compliments they are given but following it up with a form of brag. Pulling this off ensures the person gets an ego boost while not appearing to be cocky.
James pulled a classic passive bragging by pretending his short code wasn't a big deal, but followed it up by stating that it's better than most others around.

nerd brag

When a nerd acts like something is common knowledge, but in actuality is not known to the majority of people.

It is a desperate desire to make clear that the nerd was fully aware of something, that you were not, and that he or she believes that everyone else was also aware of it.

Common examples of nerd brags include:

"What, you didn't know that?"

"Really? Oh weird, I know how to do that."
"Any time I can't figure something out on my computer, Steve has to nerd brag while he shows me how to do it."

"Ummm, you know that this security flaw has been know for almost a month now, right?"
