Public Adjuster

Ambulance chasers. A mostly unnecessary profession where someone "represents" the policyholder rather than the insurance company. They don't really do anything besides add a bunch of bullsh*t line items in Xactimate to try and "blow up" a claim. The end result is the claim extending for months and months and only the public adjuster benefiting financially, while completely screwing over the insured.

When my house burned down, a public adjuster solicited his services to me. Since I wasn't a moron, I told him to go f*ck over someone else.

It's an adjustment, you really were a dork 25 to 30 years ago, but some people believe that people change, and you try and adjust to how their beliefs are impacting everything and everyone around them, as they become their evil alter ego and are no longer who they were growing up any more.

Beatitude adjustment

A more Christian version of instant karma, in which someone suddenly learns that the Beatitudes of the bible also have a negative side, such as: "Cursed are the arrogant, for they will inherit nothing. Cursed are those who hunger for wrongdoing, for they will be left hungry. Cursed are the cruel, for they will be shown no mercy. " rather than "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth" etc.

Adam said Bo was bragging about his new car Monday and wrecked it Tuesday. That's a Beatitude adjustment for you.

Adjustable Wrench

The tool commonly known as a Nut Fucker.

Instead of using a proper wrench, John used the adjustable wrench. His use of the nut fucker, despite multiple contrary instructions, rounded out the bolt head. Now no one can get it off.
