Wibe

A Bahamian word, also spelt "wyb", that carries several connotations:
1 n. A thing
2 n. A problem; A situation; A grudge (Can be used interchangeably in certain cases)
3 n. A feud between persons; A grudge

v. Wibin; A on-going feud
4 n. A serious thing
5 n. A plan or plot; Also used interchangeably with "Scene"; Something
6 n. Used to refer to someone in a sexual context; Refers to genitals
7 n. AIDS
8 n. *A code word used as a synonym for something you don't want to say out loud e.g. drugs

WIBC

Stands for Western International Band Clinic, but we all call it band camp. It takes place usually in Seatle, Washington, and band geeks from all over the country go to play in one of the four honor bands: Phoenix, Sunbird, Thunderbird, and Firebird. We stay at the Double Tree Hotel near the Seatact Airport for 4 days and have the best time ever. At WIBC you can exceed the limit of people in the hot tub (record was made last year (2005) with 27 band geeks in it, the max limit is supposed to be 10), have parties in the hotel rooms (though they usually don't last very long, the hotel people don't like it), you can have elevator races, play the game Big Booty in the loby and have about 10 other people that you don't know join, and while in the hot tub make friends by guessing what instruments people play. and hang out and make friends with other band geeks. Basicaly, WIBC ROX MY SOX!

WIBC is the ultamate place to go, and make tons of memories.

WIBC is the best place to meet new friends that are just as big of band geeks as yourself.

WIBC is the only place where the main clothes people wear are their band sweatshirts, t-shirts, jackets, letters, etc.
