slide bite

an injury caused by the recoil motion of the slide on a semi-automatic pistol. typically caused when the shooter has his or her thumb in the way.

The first time I shot my pistol I got a wicked slide bite on my thumb. I haven't made that mistake again!

Solid Seven

A safe response when your drunk/insecure friend asks you to rate them on a 10 point scale. It's high enough to protect their ego but low enough they know you're not just humoring them. (But you are humoring them, they're a five.) When in doubt, everybody is a solid seven.

Friend: I'm- I'm attractive, right? RIGHT? Like, honestly- what am I? Come on, let me have it.

You: You? You're... a solid seven, bro.

Friend: Does this dress make me look fat?
You: SolidSeven!
