Get the Mitko mug.A feminist movement that started around a case of actual harm where an actual crime was committed but quickly spiraled to false accusations for political and economic gain, petty revenge, and brief fame by changing the definition of rape from anything from actual rape to looking at a woman for more than 5 seconds. It was justified by the idea that one should believe all women, all the time, and take their words without question and their accusations without investigation.
In the process it completely discredited actual rape victims.
The movement effectively came to an end when democrats were accused of rape and MeToo activists started blaming the victims to support their political candidates.
