As far as humans of da feminine persuasion, Bert Dow appeared to only have his long-suffering sister Leela in his life; I wonder if this was due to dat confounded old makeup-and-breakup engine of his --- i.e., no non-family women could stand to be around said horridly-loud prop-whirler which Burt was frequently having to tinker with just to keep going?

Stage Makeup

When a female or male, mostly female, is wearing too much makeup. The name originates from dancers and performers in live performances that would wear a large amount of makeup so that it could be seen by the audience as it watches the performance. It is normally worm by young teens but is not exclusive to them. The act of having Stage makeup in public is frowned upon in society as being socially deviate and extremely ugly from an aesthetics stand point

A stupid name made up by Westerners to describe a diverse range of makeup styles originating from China. "Douyin" is the original Chinese version of TikTok but the majority of makeup trends in China do not originate from Douyin at all. One of the most popular Chinese makeup styles is "chunyu", which is an entire aesthetic in itself.
