The act of a queer person pretending to be cishet in certain situations, (e.g the workplace) to avoid homophobia and/or transphobia. Usually not closeted to themselves or close friends.

Man 1: Hey, so I’m actually a trans man, not a cis man like I let you all assume.

Man 2: It’s cool dude. You know, I’m…I’m actually bi. Anyone else here letterboxing?
