Although it has a bad reputation (a local newspaper published an article calling the school a "gang factory") and students often complain that the building is falling apart (well, OK, it is), GHS has excellent athletic, art, and academic programs available for students who choose to be involved. Unfortunately, the school had three different principals from 2003 to 2007.
