An EMU requires no separate locomotive, as electric traction motors are incorporated within one or a number of the carriages. An EMU is usually formed of two or more semi-permanently coupled carriages, but electrically powered single-unit railcars are also generally classed as EMUs. Also there is the DMU (Diesel Multiple Unit) it’s sort of like an EMU but powered by a diesel engine. EMUs are more popular in many commuter and railroad companies than DMU because they have a faster acceleration and they are pollution-free

Can be used interchangeably for calling someone a pedophile.

This was an alternative word that users used when a large-scale censorship on a meme sharing website called "iFunny".

User A: "Damn, she's hot af."
User B: "That's a 13 year old, you fuckin emu."

Both "emu" or "emuphile" are commonly used. Though there isn't a true origin for how the flightless bird and pedos are related.
