Now Economy

The "I need it Now!" sheeple-intensive economy.
In a recent article in trendwatching.com, one can read about what founder Reinier Evers has called the 'Youniverse' of the 'massclass' of 'trysumers' who now can buy their own 'massclusives' blah blah blah...
First they called it New Economy (the 90s' e-boom-and-bust)... then it became known as the New New Economy (the humble, non-spending 'techwrecks'/ also refers to the 00s' rising nanotech and pharma market). But, what about now? You answered yourself...It's the Now Economy now!

zombie economy

Something that looks alive, but is really dead (smells like rotten fish) Something like Goldman Sachs putting a paper mache money transfusion into a corpse, we all walk around following each other for the last drop of blood, forever.
Yeah, got a job the other day: I was CEO at WaMu, but my 12 year old neighbor, outsourced me to mow lawns: zombie economy, you know.

Lipstick economy

An economy which is rapidly declining, yet despite the downward turn in general sales, lipstick purchases increase.
Charles: "I can't beleive my wife Margaret, we're in the middle of a global recession and she's buying lipstick like there's no tomorrow."
Pete: "Yeah, sure looks like the lipstick economy has finally arrived"

Moneyless economy

An ecomomy that dose not use money. Instead of money it uses a grading system where a person works to reach a higher grading and your grading level determines what you can get in materal goods.
It is a new system but has a large number of surporters who believe that humanity would be better off if they could get rid of money.
What do you think about a moneyless economy?

Drain on the Economy

Someone who draws a living off people without offering service or making a product. A bum.
After college, I spent 8 months on my parents' couch wondering if I was a drain on the economy

The gig economy

An legal, but retargerous, economic arrangement where the least qualified/impressive/ educated, most underachieving/ incompetent people make the most money hand over fist.
The best participants in the gig economy so far are Hunter Biden and LeBron James
