Local term for the African-American portions of Pasadena and Altadena in Southern California that are adjacent to each other and form a community both part of and apart from those two cities.

A place where many famous African-American actors and activists lived and were buried.

Eldrige Cleaver was from Da Denas, but he's buried here in the Mountian View Cemetary.
