She appears first in the very first book of the Percy Jackson series when she acompany's him on a quest. At the very end o the last book they finally start going out. The movie was a complete flop in ratings and gross earnings. Its sad performance was primarily due to poor effects, acting and character depth portrayed most in the large, dense, buffoon who they called the main character.
