methite

A cultural group pandemic in the United States, but especially numerous in the Pacific Northwest. Methites are known for their consumption of methamphetamines and their propensity for living "down by the river". Their primary occupations include collection of recyclables for deposits and amateur demagoguery. Methites can be physically identified by their apparent desperate need of dermatological and dental care.

The methites emerged from down by the river to scour the neighborhood for redeemable bottles and cans.
