The word 'brap' originally hails from areas such as council estates and
car modifying conventions. It was later
taken by middle
class Roffians who found that by using the word they could imitate these persons with great 'hilarity'.
To everyone’
s dismay to make up for their lack of articulation the word is used increasingly frequently and in an array of different ways e.g.
verb, adjective and noun. Thus, they have managed something that only a select few from Roffey can do, and that is to completely bastardise a word as trivial as 'brap'.
As these Roffians have made themselves look like class A pillocks, it is now customary to reply 'What a
goober, he can't speak proper' to any mention of the word 'brap'.
