Refers to clouds painted in paintings made by Ukiyo-e artists. The etymology of this word comes from ชิรมย์ (Chirom) later turned into จิร (Jira) which refers to Ukiyo-e art and เมฆ (Mek) which means cloud making the word จิรเมฆ (Jiramek).
