footbag 

Footbag is a growing sport, played mostly in Europe and North America, though there are a rapidly growing number of footbag clubs and players around the world. Frequently referred to as "Hacky Sack" (a product manufactured by Wham-O, Inc.), footbag has existed as a competitive sport in several forms since the 1970's. There are a substantial number of footbag tournaments and festivals each year.

Competitive footbag is governed by the International Footbag Committee (IFC), which publishes the official Rules of Footbag Sports.

The most popular competitive footbag sports are Footbag Net and Freestyle.

A better name for hack sack. A small round bag filled with plastic pellets or other stuff and used in games that require it being kept in the air with the feet. This term is used more often when referring to professional footbag competitions.

Not Hacky Sack but commonly reffered to as it. Footbag is a joke to most and those who do it in high school are ridiculed, made fun of and thought of as a stoners. Footbag is for dedicated athletes and isn't composed of cartwheels, rolling around, ball stalls or chicken scratching. Profanity is the players choice along with throwing the bag at retards who laugh and point.
