Appundicitis 

Appundicitis is a cancerous disease responsible for thousands of deaths worldwide every year. When a person makes too many puns and stops being funny altogether, there is a good chance that they have contracted appundicitis. There is little to no chance of survival or recovery.

Daughter: "Mommy, is daddy going to be okay?"
Mother: "I'm sorry, sweetie, but he's got appundicitis. Even if he were to cover, he wouldn't be the same person he was before. He'd be less funny. We have to put him down"

2. When you just had your appendectomy surgery.

Always used in an over dramatic tone

I can’t take the trash out because I’ve been appendicited.
