a better channel than MTV, but still kinda shitty sometimes. I mean, come on! who fucking wants some british guy ranting on about the "FABULOUS LIVES OF *insert rich annoying celebrity here*" But still has awesome shows. Like, I Love The 80's, 70's and 90's. Also, Behind The Music is good, when it talks about the right people. Best Week Ever is ok. Now on to the bad shows.

nickelodeon- for the kiddies
mtv- for the pre teens and teens
vh1- for twenty to thrity somethings
cbs- for the old folks.

although half of their shows now are about celebrities and eating disorders, you still have to watch I Love the 70's/80's/90's, and their videos compared to MTV are... wait, you can't even compare MTV to Vh1.

I'll watch anything on there that isn't about how <insert annoying cokewhore celebrity here> overcame her <insert self-inflicted disease and/or internal damage here>.

to be simple, it's the Viacom music channel that's actually entertaining and worth your time.

I used to watch Daria, and PhlegmTV took it off. Now I watch Big Urban Myth show and VH1.

The channel MTV should of been. VH1 has a good variety of shows that have to do with music! MTV is like satan reincarnated into a "music" channel. oops! I mean a "reality" TV channel.

VH1: Today were gonna have some AC/DC, Queen, REM, Outkast, and Metallica

MTV: Yeah we're gonna have like, some teen shows and shit, and then some bad reality show, 70 episodes of Real World, uh, like, some Punk'd too, and lets not forget Jackass, with like, the CUTEST person like ever!!!! And we're also gonna force some 12 year olds to think our stuff is cool. Uh, oh yeah, we'll have some, uh, *checks through record archive* lets see, AC/DC, Queen, Metallica, REM, ugh, this is good music, we'll like have some Blink182 or something at one point.

Stands for Video Hits One. A second music video channel started by MTV in 1985. Originally hyphenated as "VH-1" until 1994. Currently owned by Viacom, who also owns MTV, CBS, Showtime, and Nickelodeon.

While VH1 doesn't show many videos, it does more interesting stuff like "I Love The 70's/80's" unlike that boring, predictable, and fake reality TV crap shown on MTV.
