The sociotechonomic factors of the 21st century, such as the increased use of the internet and social media, America's increased distaste for the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, and the sudden faltering of the economy at the end of the Bush era are all important conditions that played a role in Barack Obama's vitory in the 2008 Presidential election.

church hurt 

church hurt is where you experience a degree of distance, pain, or judgement from your church community. Essentially, you are just unable to “find your place”. This is prevalent in the Christian community, but can be extended to other religions.
Now that I am an adult I am beginning to heal from the church hurt that was inflicted on me as a child.
