. Is what you can put when you waited for someone to text you back and after a while, when they don’t text you back, you put . to end the conversation and go about your business.

Your friend texts you that he’s coming over. So you ask”When are you coming over?”
(5 minutes pass with no response.)
“Hey! When are you coming over? “
(5 more minutes pass with no response)

Type in “ . ” (Forget about it and go about your business) Don’t wait around all afternoon for somebody to respond, who doesn’t have the decency to respond. Especially when they initiated the conversation.
