Hayley Kiyoko is a Japanese American singer-songwriter and actress from
Cali. She used to look like a slightly emo t.A.T.u. cosplayer from
Myspace. At this point she first gained fame for playing Stella on the Disney movie Lemonade Mouth.
Then Hayley glo'd up and began writing
music and dropping EPs. Hayley gained a huge amount of fame and popularity after releasing the music video for her single Girls Like Girls in June 2015. Thus after realizing how
gay she truly is, she released her most homosexual EP yet, Citrine, in September 2016. She went on tour for it and unsurprisingly sold out because her
music is catchy yet good quality, genuine, and she writes it herself unlike 95% of singers these days. Not only can she sing and write her own
music, but she plays instruments too which is even rarer in today's music industry.
Hayley is regarded as the reincarnation of Sappho or as an icon for the gay community. Unfortunately most people would rather listen to Halsey aka Trashley or someone else who is talentless and pretentious rather than an actually musically talented creative
gay Asian woman.
Person1: Hey, did you see
Hayley Kiyoko's new music video?
Person2: Of course. The portrayal of a passionate and lustful interracial lesbian
relationship in a nonfetishized way was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. In fact I started crying.
Hayley Kiyoko is so underrated.
