Tall poppy syndrome 

Australian slang for the tendancy to criticise highly successful people (ie, tall poppies), and 'cut them down'.

Sam seemed to be suffering tall poppy syndrome when he described Kerry Packer as an evil man, merely because he was a billionaire.

Tall Man Syndrome 

Opposite of Small Man Syndrome. It is where tall men (probably over 5'12) who have probably done nothing in their life except be dicks and failures to society, are seen as superior by either some people or themselves. This is in spite of figures like Napoleon Bonaparte, who conquered a lot of Europe, was only around 5'6-5'7.

While shorter men doing great things might be seen as compensating, that is much better than someone with Tall Man Syndrome as someone with this affliction does nothing at all except disappoint everyone, especially women in bed.

There are two kinds of people in this spectrum. One does great things like lead England and the allies through World War 2 and being a distinguished historical figure, while the other got genetically lucky and nothing else.

"Damn. Look man, I may be short, but I can actually pay my rent on time and hold a relationship. You suffer from Tall Man Syndrome! A big case of it too!"

Short Man: "I just conquered half of Europe!"
Random person: "You are probably just compensating."
Short Man: "Maybe. How's (Insert Tall Man)? Still crying in his parents basement?"

When some tall guys act like they have the right to speak to anyone like a piece of dog shit on the bottom of their shoe just because of their height advantage. They think that just because they're big it means they can't get knocked over.

When a hypochondriac delusional tall person has a preconceived notion that he or she will die earlier just because of their tall stature.

Danny: Happy Birthday Bob! Why are you so blue?

Tall Poppy Syndrome 

"If I can't be special, NO ONE CAN!!"

Basically when someone tries to put a moral spin on their jealousy of other people's successes. But in the end, jealousy is ALL that it is. They will claim that someone may be "too good for everyone else" when they just want to bring the successful down to their pathetic level.

"I can't believe that Sandra inherited all that money. Now she thinks she's too good for us."

"Dude... If you're just gonna show off your Tall Poppy Syndrome all day, I'm out of here. I have no time for jealous, self-serving bullshit."
