I've made a huge mistake

A phrase used often in the canceled TV show "Arrested Development". The phrase is mostly used when the characters talk to themselves after a serious of poor choices/bad events. It's used to make light of bad situations, although the characters themselves don't find it funny.
MARTA: "I was really worried about you"
GOB: "You've got nothing to worry about. We're going to be together for a long time"
MARTA: "We're family now - I'm so happy. I'm going to call the kids!"
<MARTA walks out of room>
GOB: I've made a HUGE mistake

I've made a huge mistake.

1. An understatement to utter under your breath when you botch everything.

2. Something to say when you realize your preconceptions of the situations have turned up false.

3. Something Gob might say on "Arrested Development."

A Baker's Mistake

The phrase to be used when you wish to correct someone on a point they have made which is obviously incorrect, but when you have no intention of making the person he uttered the point, feel stupid or inadequate.
Person A: Is Twilight that movie with wizards?
Person B: Ah, no you've made a Baker's mistake there, that's Harry Potter.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
(It can be used in a student/teacher enviorment)
Teacher: What is the eighth planet?
Student: Er, Pluto?
Teacher: Oh no you've made a Baker's Mistake; it's Neptune.

Mistake Of A Child

This term is usually find in very interesting gacha series (The Hated Child Becomes A Princess) on YouTube. The mom use it as a insult for the hated child compared to the favorite child, which is very logical and overused.
Shes way better then this Mistake Of A Child!
