blackout

Blackout is the term used to describe when a person is so drunk that they wake up the next morning with temporary amnesia, no recollection of what they did the night before. It can be used as a verb or as an adjective.

verb: "Oh man I blacked out so fast last night, and then I woke up in this ugly girl's room."

adj: "I was so blackout man, everyone was wasted."

blackout inception 

It is when you black out during your blackout. For example you could be blacked out and yelling at a person and then 10 seconds later be completely calm with that person because your so blacked out you forgot you were angry at them. However in the morning you won't remember any of it and will have to piece it all together. Thus a blackout inception.

-Yo dude do you remember calling me twice super wasted last night?

-No man what did I say

-Well the first time you called you were super pissed and yelling at me because I was trying to hit on your sister. But then the second time you called like 5 minutes later you were like I am your best bro and said I was great guy because I have never have tried to hit on your sister.

-Oh Dude! I must have had blackout inception...wait you tried to hit on my sister last night?

Blackout-cum

Work Blackout 

Related to times spent actively "at" or "doing" your work in relation to your job and livelihood when you have absolutely no memory of those deliverables or the time spent on them. This is not meant to imply that you are imbibed or physically impaired in any way. You are simply so over-worked, that you have entered a mental state that no longer accepts memories of actions being executed, discussed, emailed, delivered, etc.

Can you send me that Power-Point presentation I sent to the team a few weeks ago that was a training guideline for strategic improvement? ...This is it? I don't remember writing a word of this? Like, I wrote this and emailed to you? I must have been in a complete Work Blackout when I did this!? Gets the point across though, right?

blackout baby 

Anyone born 9 months after a blackout. Presumably the parents found something to do while the power was out that didn't involve electricity...

The great northeast US blackout of 1965 happened in early November. Nine months later, I was born - a blackout baby! Guess I know what my folks were up to when the lights were out (ewwww....)
