It is the adopted nickname of the ghanaian national football squad.the black stars were a highly successful football team being crowned 4 times african champions from the 60's to 80's with the influencial player abedi pele and the likes of tony yeboah.
Of late the black stars have seen a revolution under the guidance of ratomir djucovic and have recently qualified for the 2006 world cup. a feat that had never been accomplished by prior squads.
the new generation of ghanaian footballers includes the likes of Michael Essien and Stephen Appiah who are considerd the spine of the team set to surprise the footballing world at the upcoming fifa world cup.

United States of America

(1) A nation that has received so much crap from other people around the world for being imperfect.

(2) A nation that has adopted indigent children from countries all around the world called immigrants who sought a haven from their home countries for various reasons including economic opportunity that the home country could not convey.

(3) A nation that is so quickly (and wrongly) criticized due to a very small minority of so-called "patriots" consisting of imbeciles arrogant enough to believe they speak for 300,000,000 people and ignorant enough to spread the stereotypes of Americans.

The best pair of shoes you can get

Originating in 1917 by the shoe company Converse, they were aimed at the basketball shoe market
they didnt really pick up popularity untill a famous basketball player, Chuck Taylor, started using them.

In about 1966 more people started demanding variety in the shoe, for fasion or to match basketball uniforms. They also designed a low-top or "oxford" to be sold, along with the original high-top. Also, some of the shoes sold were laceless, and were instead held up by elastics.

In the late 70's many rock genres adopted them as their fasion style in shoes. Mostly purchesed for the individuality and designs, converse all-stars made a huge come back in the early ninties.

Right now they are pretty much the most kick ass shoes you can get.

I love my all stars. Im going to grow up and go to my brothers house just so i can teach his kids to burp the alphabet. then when they think im their "cool" uncle, ill show them my all-star collection. Ill have about a million of them by then. also i wont have a home because ill spend all my money on those bad boys.
