A common hairstyle among young teenagers where an inch or so of hair protrudes off of the wearer's forehead, almost like a hat. Eventually, the "schwa" becomes so extended that hair gel is no longer required.

Schwa

Also known as the 4 Levels of Schwa. A lifestyle, usually pertaining to, but not always, a state of constant inebriation. Is also used as a prefix for the 4 levels of Schwa i.e schmeckled, schwifty, schmacked, and schwasted. In ascending order, these terms can be used to describe one's "drunkness" or "highness."

"Hey bro, on a scale of 1 to Schwa, how sauced are you? "
"I've only had a few shots, I'm a tad bit schmeckled."

Everyone who was versed on the 4 levels of Schwa knew Maddie was schwasted but she wouldn't listen.

To be one with the Schwa is to know one's limitations and to strive to push boundaries never thought to be achievable.
